Thanks for visiting my website! It is a place where I can share photographs from the four distinct areas of interest I have, which are portraiture, feature photography, news, and sports shooting. I also have videos on the site made up of still photos and set to music. 

My true passion lies in the art of making creative portraits for bands, solo artists, seniors, families, couples, executives, and anyone else who wants interesting photographs of themselves. I'm available to shoot these for you on location or in the studio located in the historic Market Building in the downtown Des Moines. This is definitely not your typical portrait studio. For one thing it's easily the largest I've ever seen, with plenty of space to photograph even the biggest of bands or families. There are barn doors and ramps that allow clients to bring in special large items that can be incorporated into their photo shoot if they so desire. The decor is very eclectic in a way that almost anyone would love. 

Every photo session I do is different, as it should be. In a survey I did, the number one thing people told me they wanted in their portraits "is something different," because they are "tired of portraits that all look the same."
